Top selling author, entrepreneur, community leader and spiritual pastor to thousands, Terry Ellison has embarked on a life-long mission to reach the lost and hurting for Jesus Christ.  

 

As founder and CEO of New Life Ministries, Pastor Ellison executes God’s vision for--one church--seven locations. Powerfully anointed to lead, he steers the course of a successful multi-faceted, multi-million dollar ministry made up of philanthropic services, multiple community outreach initiatives, an accredited bible college, daycare ministry, job skills center, 24-hour all Christian radio station and television broadcast ministry and diverse counseling services housed in seven churches dispersed centrally around the Montgomery, Alabama.

 

In the 20 years since its inception, New Life has grown from an eight-member church in 1993 to a worldwide ministry with more than 5,000 members, making New Life one of the fastest growing churches in Montgomery.

 

He is a highly sought after speaker and has served as spiritual advisor to former Alabama Governor Fob James, and a host of local and state leaders. Pastor Ellison is currently serving on the Montgomery Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. He has appeared alongside some of the nation’s leading evangelists including Benny Hinn, Reinhard Bonnke, and many of God’s generals.  

 

His weekly television series, “Harvest For Souls” airs on TBN and MY 68 in Montgomery and Birmingham reaching an audience of thousands in Alabama.  He appeared on The Word Network which has a viewing audience of over eighty one million people.  In July 2003 he preached on the worldwide TBN Praise The Lord program and has been a frequent guest since that time.  Pastor Ellison and his wife recently acquired a new television station--Total Praise Channel (TPC).  TPC's format is family and Christian programming with its motto, "Trust Us With Your Family."

 

Locally, Pastor Ellison’s commitment to putting God’s Word in action is evidenced by his tireless efforts to serve the community. Annually, he sponsors crusades in the city’s most poverty–stricken areas and distributes groceries and offers encouragement by meeting the physical and spiritual needs of those who might not otherwise hear God’s message. Pastor Ellison also spearheads the Jesus for Montgomery Crusade, a citywide evangelical movement that crosses all racial, ethnic, and denominational lines to unite the city for Christ.  He has participated in community outreach programs:  Convoy of Hope, Medical Alliance, and the Montgomery Literacy Council.

 

    Pastor Terry Ellison is the author of several successful books including Unresolved Issues (1998), Deadly Soul Ties (2001) and He Erased the Scars (2005). With each work, Pastor Ellison draws on his years of experience and spiritual insight to give the reader the confidence to stand on faith and succeed.  Pastor Ellison and the love of his life, his wife, Dr. Jevonnah Ellison, reside in Montgomery, Alabama.  He has six wonderful children and nine grandchildren.
